How this board was built
S-tier weapons are the four kits an October 9 refresh put at the top: Shadow Monarch, Flame Director, Cataclysm, and Mochi Commander. Traits are grouped by the printed combat stats, with Fortune called out for farming rather than boss damage. Accessory letters follow the size of the printed buffs and how early the recipe is. Pair bonuses and the 60% crit and 40% cooldown caps can matter more than the letter.

S tier
Player decision The balanced Mythic craft once you can pay the feather cost.
Player decision Stop auto-reroll here on a weapon you will keep for crit damage.
Player decision Farm Nightmare Shadow Gate after Story is stable. Do not spend starter rolls chasing it.
Player decision Best printed damage piece. Watch the 40% cooldown cap if the weapon trait already has CDR.
Player decision A second raid target once Shadow Gate is already on your route. Evolution materials are separately attributed to a Bathtub Raid label.
Player decision The all-round rare trait. Check cooldown reduction before you add more CDR accessories.
Player decision The long Arsenal chase. It is not required to clear the first Story acts.
Player decision Strong once you can manage the turret casts. A place-matched index lists Katakuri as Arcane.
A tier
Player decision The damage Legendary to craft before you can afford the Mythic wings.
Player decision The practical combat stop if Deadeye and Supernova are not realistic for your reroll stack.
Player decision Wear it while you are short on crafting materials.
Player decision Keep it on a crit weapon when you cannot justify more rerolls.
Player decision The strongest non-LYTH kit in the October 9 descriptions. Confirm whether your Sukuna copy is this kit before you farm fingers.
Player decision A movement piece for raids where positioning matters.
Player decision Use the Rubber Man pair when you need health and already own both.
Player decision A damage cloak when feathers are the bottleneck.
B tier
Player decision Good on a build that already crits. Weak if your crit chance is still low.
Player decision A crit-chance bridge. Replace it if you later roll Deadeye or Sniper.
Player decision A solid general trait to keep while you learn the weapon.
Player decision Fine on its own for Story. The named pair waits until you own Cataclysm.
Player decision The cheap crit piece. Skip it if you are already at the 60% crit cap.
Player decision A usable Mythic while you learn. Do not assume it is the October 2 Guts kit.
Player decision A strong Epic stat line if the eyeball farm is open.
Player decision Bring Cursed King if you own it. Otherwise it is a normal Mythic.
Player decision An early mixed piece. The cooldown bonus is small next to the cap.
Player decision A farming Epic. Swap it off for a damage piece on bosses.
C tier
Player decision Keep a farming copy. Do not treat it as a boss trait.
Player decision Fine early damage. Reroll it once the weapon is a keeper.
Player decision Useful while you are learning spacing. Not an end target.
Player decision Keep it if Kings Gambit is the other slot and both ultimates are unlocked.
Player decision Craft it if Fine Cloth is all you have and you need a little health.
Player decision Keep only if your clear depends on skill uptime and you are under the 40% cap.
Player decision A step up from Epic, and a partner piece rather than a solo endgame kit.
Player decision A first craft. Replace it as soon as a Legendary is affordable.
Player decision A small economy piece for the first acts.
D tier
Player decision Use it to learn Story. Replace it when a Legendary or better kit you understand shows up.
Player decision A survival hold for a new boss. Replace it when you stop getting downed.
Player decision Mobility for the first clears. Damage falls behind higher rarities.
Player decision An early roll. Do not spend a scarce reroll trying to keep it.
Player decision The cheapest craft. Use the slot, then upgrade it.
Player decision Starter mobility. Replace on a weapon you will evolve.
Player decision A mobile first kit. Do not sink trait rerolls into it if you are about to replace it.
Player decision A small cooldown bump. Not worth protecting.
Player decision The common damage roll. Reroll when you have tokens to spare.
Player decision Common starter. Safe to replace.
Player decision Common starter. Safe to replace.
